Hi Brett et al.,

I did my masters dissertation at Cambridge on the
formations of German Grand Prix racing (ie, the Silver
Arrows).  A good percentage of the paper is devoted to
explaining exactly why the odd assemblage of Saxonish
car companies wanted to attempt racing at a level they
never had before - ie, Auto Union.  I thought you
would all be interested, too, that of the 4 car
companies, Audi was BY FAR the least selling of the
company.  Most models years they sold in the hundreds
of units.  Anyways, I'm willing to donate it to the
knowledge base with proper copywrite, etc. noted.
