First off - thanks to all for the replies, it looks like I'll be joining the fold and will make a more formal intro when I actually get my hands on this V8Q (it ain't over till its over - I've had two experiences in the past where the deal was done - only to find out when I'm calling to pick it up that it was sold for a few bucks more - bad karma).

Anyway, I am totally new to Audis but have been soaking up as much info as I can. I was surprised to see that the V8Q takes 10qts of oil! I assume that's the total capacity, but during changes is it still about 10? Also what weight oil are you folks using? (I always run full synth and still change every 3K).

Finally, any particular all-season tire that's popular? I've got two of my vehicles shod with Yokohama Avus and really like the ride and grip in wet/dry.  I see the stock size is 215/60 on the 15 inch rims.  Do most of you stick to that or go wider and lower on the sidewall?  Thanks!
