[V8] hours to replace wires

Your mechanic has quoted a reasonable time for the replacement of these
parts. 
My question would be, plus what tune up?  If he replaces all these
parts, what else is he going to "tune"?

I had the caps off my car so many times chasing a misfire I think I can
R&R them blindfolded in less than 5 minutes for the pair. ;-)

Distributor caps 1.3
Plugs                   .9
Rotors               1.3
wires                 1.6

4.1 hours

My mechanic was saying somethin like 2 1/2 hours plus a tune up?  What's
the 
deal?
