I fill an old De-Ice-it bottle with Rubbing alcohol. It works every time. The problem is that you must lube the lock after the alcohol. (wd-40 or marine lube(Lithium spray)

Well it finally happened. In all the years of Audi ownership I
actually
couldn't get into the car this morning.
I managed to explode the plastic "light key" housing whilst trying both
locks. I imagine after all the water and high humidity that things are
frozen solid in there.

Since I've never had the frozen lock issue with Audi, can anyone tell
me
whether or not the lock-de-ice'r is worth screwing with?
My gut tells me no...

On the plus side the 200 EFI car fired right up and got me to work no
problem.
