I believe a lot of the early V8s had problems with the
odometer(?), and so the instrument clusters where replaced.
There should be a sticker somewhere indicating the original
mileage when this occurred, as the new cluster's odometer
read 0.

I could be remembering this wrong, so someone feel free
to correct me.
