So I'm in Chicago.
We got a teeny-tiny bit of snow (14").
Driving the V8 through the unplowed alley this AM the no-charging
(Alt/Batt) symbol came up and volts on the AC-head showed 12.2 and
dropping.
Then all of a sudden it started working so I kept driving.
More snow fell.
The alley was a bit deeper *cough* when I banzai'd down it to get to my
garage.
After pretty much getting stuck and working it back-unstuck I now have the
no-charging indicator again.
I did a quick under-car check and the belt appears to still be there.
No belly-pan on the car, I've asked QShipQ for one from his inventory.
Should I pop under there an expect to see a disloged blue wire?
Busted something else?
Voltage reg that needs some love?
Or just a bad f'ing alt?
Please CC: rob at flyinghead.com so I can check from my home account on any
replies.
THANKS!
