[V8] Drove Through Snow, now alt=kaput? Belt is still on!

BTDT, without the pan.... I suspect that the alt got a shot of snow
each time. If you are lucky, it will dry out.... Mine has been fine
for over a year now, but whenever it rains, I dialup the voltage on the
CC display and watch it like a hawk. I would avoid the deep stuff in
the meantime, otherwise it will be time for a rebuilt alt.
