I went to Sun Valley with a couple of friends for a day ski trip Yesterday.
I did not want to drive because my Fulda Extreemos kinda suck on icy roads so we
took my friends new to him '97 BMW 535 - which he just got for $16K with 40K
miles on it. It is the classic grandmas car. Spotless and looks and smells new.
It turned out the road was dry most of the way and we could cruise between 80
and 100MPH (with one blast to 120 :-) for the 2.5 hour trip. What a ride. That
thing was so smooth and quiet it was hard to tell we were going more than 50MPH.
Kinda makes me want to look at something a little newer.
Oh well.... I guess the V8 is still a pretty good ride and it IS paid for...
