[V8] sunroof problems

I'd think it would be plenty adequate to just splice in pieces of wire that
spanned the doorjamb and gave you 4-6 inches of material on either side to
manipulate as needed.  There are connectors between the switches and the
doorjamb, so there are little harnesses for everything.  I don't think you
want to replace the harnesses.

I had a similar experience with the seat once while motoring along and
realized that the memory "lock" button had been "unlocked" and my elbow was
causing the changes.  But it's possible the broken wiring contributed to
your situation.
