[V8] Steering Rack Question

... gotta pull the rack.  Furthermore, the hard lines that go from the
steering gear to the working cylinder have to come off ... 

The common wisdom on the other T44s was that when the boot decomposes
that you will soon be in need of a rebuilt rack.  You may want to just
take care of everything at once and get the rack rebuilt ...
