... what year car do you have?  The '91 and on models have a "convenience 
feature" which rolls the windows up if you hold the dor switch in the lock 
position for more than a few seconds.  The infamous door hinge loom failure 
might cause something like this too.  If you look in the car at night do you 
see the LEDs in the window switches lit?  Hop in the back seat, are the 
window switches still active?  Does the interior light come on when you open 
the front door?  Poke around and see what is and isn't happening and that 
can help you (and us) track down the cause ...

Ever see the driver window go up on its own-pull key, get out of car close
door, 5 minutes later it's 1/3 of the way up, another 10 minutes it's full
up?  Then every once in a while I hear the motor trying to lift for a
second, even though the window is up.  I'm thinking this has to be the
window control unit.  Car is sitting now w/ battery disconnected.

Does the control unit cross to anything?  200 20V looks like the power relay
is separate, rather than in the control unit.
