[V8] Steering Rack Question

The boot on my steering rack is torn, but otherwise seems to be in good 
working order... Question: Do I have to remove it completely from the 
vehicle to replace the torn boot, or can I remove the 2 banjo bolts, tie rod 
ends (etc) and slip it off through the passenger wheel well?
 OK, second question. If I see pentosin leaking from one of those two banjo 
bolts, can I re-torque it, or should I buy 2 new seals for the bolt and then 
re-torque it. Any way to keep the pentosin from running out while I replace 
those two seals on the banjo bolt? ;-)
