[V8] Slight acceleration issue

I'm guessing the fix is the FPR, but I'll explain the symptoms.
 
While in 3rd gear under moderate accelleration (not WOT).
 
The car pulls strong, but there is a slight hesitation (reduced power) that lasts for 3/4 to 1 second in lenght. The car then pulls strong again for 1 second.  This sequence repeats up to redline.
 
I'm guessing this is a fuel issue.  Is it the Fuel Pressure Regulator or fuel filter?  Other?
