[V8] Slight acceleration issue

Egad. The dreaded (and very ubiquitous) surge condition. Repair
patches are varied, including FPR, O2 sensor, plugs, and vacuum hose
replacement. I recall one instance of claimed repair after replacing
the t-stat. There's also TPS, MAF, and other high dollar crap shoots
with low likelihood of fixing it.
There's gobs of intel in the archives ("surge"). The first 4 items are
the place to start. On my car I basically replaced everything and it's
now only slightly there, if at all. Or maybe I just fixed it by using
WOT everywhere.
