[V8] How can you increase radio reception on a 90 V8?

Mine kinda sucks, and i know the little black antenna is for the cell
phone, and the back window holds as the radio antenna...what a genius
idea.....

anyway is there a way to increase reception? I mean unless im
downtown, the radio pretty much always has cracks and pops of static.
The connection is good and everything is plugged in ok, but i still
get static sounding...some stations worse than others. Any way to
remedy that?
