i just recently got a 90 V-8/Q up and running. currently the red brake light in the dash is on as soon as the car is started. after CAREFULLY driving it about 15 miles on back roads up to 40 m.p.h., it is still on, and the brakes are very hard. I have received input from several others about the "bomb", but my questions are
1. at idle should there be fluid coming from the pump to the bomb. currently at idle there is none on this vehicle. i checked the pump and the eccentrics are turning, and the hose is not restricted. yet still no fluid, and yes, there is pentosin in the reservoir getting to the pump.
2. this vehicle has been running without the serpentine belt attached due to a fan pulley failure. does the pump/bomb need to be primed?
if the bomb is bad, so be it, but just trying to rule out some other things first.
thanks for the help
