[V8] Help! Bumper Nut Access

Thanks!  Gave it one more try in the interim, and got it blind from the top
w/ 3/8-drive deep socket and 3" extension, no universal.  Had to be long
enough to clear the hoses, but short enough to stay away from the heat
shield.  A fine-tooth ratchet would have made this a lot easier.

 

Might have to take off the fan to start the nut.  Owner said he wants to
leave that nut off; being a bit retentive, I'm not thrilled.

 

The car w/ the euros was totaled on the way home from the dealer after >$600
of work to pass emissions-- drunk hit him in the right rear quarter.  My
buddy found a 93 w/ recent top-end rebuild (a much nicer car, but needs CV
boots on both sides) and we're swapping the headlights now.  More on this
bizarre story later.
