Yes, I hear you Dave! I have the same feelings when going in for the
old sniff test.
Similar to your experience, when I brought #344 back from Colorado I
took it in to the Smog Pros to qualify it for registration in California
... the tech told me that he couldn't remember a car that had such clean
emissions ... Now I'm struggling to get it to pass though! I'm hoping
that the OXS I recently identified via the diags will get me back in ...
right now the car is just barely over the limit at high RPM ...
BTW, the CO2 is currently not controlled ... but don't be surprised if
that doesn't change some time soon ... it is a "greenhouse gas" after
all ...
