[V8] Passed Inspection - Impressive Emissions Numbers

I also know the feeling.  I watched my numbers rise as the car got 
older.  Then I drove the car on four cylinders for about 12 miles 
(broken distributor a result of upside down tie rod);  the cats were 
glowing and the famous cat light came on as I rolled in the driveway.  
Scared the stuff out of me.  I soaked the driveway under the car with 
water for about ten minutes hoping that it might speed the cooling 
process;  molten cats under a still car is a scary proposition.....  
Anyway, I put another set of cats on the car when it failed emissions 
badly.  The car was nearly perfect after that with numbers like DaveM 
reported.  Its now half way back to bad again a few years later.....
