Well that did not work with the screwdiver it is totally busted whoever
put this thing on was a retard. I dont even think a lube place could get
this off :/
I am more than likely going to have to take it to a shop that can cut
the thing off.... The Center is not attached either I fuigured beings
that a person I know in person has seen it done then you said you had
done it that it would work pretty well.
I know Dan Hussey said to wait till monday but I wanted to get that
thing off :) Dan you can slap me when you come over tommrow HAHA!! well
not really but anyway I guess I am going to have to tear off the outer
peice like you said and get to the inner peice that is up there and some
how get it latched on that giant long oil filter if anyone has any ideas
on what I could use to get this thing out I am all ears. I would rather
do it myself than take it to a shop.
I am thinking that if I get everything off of it that when the inner
part is exposed if I yank that out "its loose and fried" that all that
will be left is that upper seal peice. Now I know on my current filter
that I have to replace it with there is 4 holes
http://home.comcast.net/~slicerdicer/filter.jpg if you look at that
picture you will see them. I am wondering if there is any kind of thing
I can attach to those holes to crank that thing out? I will more than
likely need to attach it to a extender pole on a breaker of some form to
break it free.
I assume if there is no way to get this off without shop tools of some
form to cut it off then I guess I will have to take it to the shop but
if there is someway that I can do it without needing to cut it off
please I am all ears.
Thanks,
