[V8] pipe under back seat

There should be a place on your battery to attach the pipe.  It simply vents the hydrogen produced when the battery is charged to the outside of the car.  You dont want your rear seat to end up like the Hindenburg so it is a good idea to hook it up.

need your help once again !
after auto start on my 92 v8 started playing up i had to change the  battery.
i have found a pipe (looks like a vacume pipe ) comeing out of the floor  pan 
under the rear seat but it don't go anware can anyone help
