[V8] pipe under back seat

You mean the one for the battery vent?  Audi requires batteries installed to
have a vent kit so as not to poison passengers by venting battery gasses
into the passenger compartment or back seat.  If they didn't give you the
vent kit, I bet they gave you the wrong size battery as well.  Ours is often
mistakly given as a group 48 (for 100/200 cars), but ours is a group 49 -- 
approximately 3 inches longer.  Also used in many MB models.
