[V8] Oil Change woes!!! Filter stuck!

I would go slowly here kids -

You are talking about torching the oil galleries on the motor - not a good idea
IMHO. You will coke up the oil and plug up the system at worst, at best you will
put chunks of coked oil directly in the oil system AFTER the filter.
Not good.

Also, I am pretty sure there is no oil filter adaptor on this motor. If you mess
up the filter mount, you replace it by replacing the block.

You have to be missing something. Slow down and think through all your options.
Get another pair of eyes on the problem if you can.
