[V8] wheel fitment... again

To chime in, the need for spacers really comes from the tighter offset,
not the increased width. My 17x8 (35et) fits no problem. I may
eventually space out anyway just to push the wheel further out to the
fender edge, but it's pretty good as it is. So with a 38 offset, you
may also want the spacers to avoid looking too dorky with the wheels
pushed inward...
Jeremy's proper application is a great example I think.
