[V8] Stuck Brake Light Switch?

I would start with reading "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance".

When you discovered yourself, you are ready to inspect the brake pedal.
Feel it. Look at it. Observe its movement. Admire its simple beauty and sense of
purpose.

Soon you will be able to "feel" if the pedal is coming to rest at its proper
position. Is the return spring healthy?

Is the stop light switch properly at peace with its mounting bracket? Adjust it
until harmony is achieved - and the lights go reliably off with the pedal up.

Now go out to the garden and have a beer.

Actually "Zen" is a pretty good book.

It might be more practical these days though to read Orwells "1984".
That would help you decypher the nightly news.
