[V8] Creating a KnowledgeBase TidBit

To create a new "TidBit" in the KnowledgeBase: you first have
to create a user name (e.g., first and last name, no spaces,
case sensitive). That gets you access to the system.

Then cheat: Find a TidBit you like. Click on the "Edit" button
to see the source code (text, plus tags that make it look pretty),
copy the source code and paste it into Notepad or other text
editor.  Then *cancel* your edit (you don't want to modify the
example).

Edit your text: Modify the text you copied into Notepad. You can
re-use the headings, see how lists and tables work, etc. in the
copied text. When you think you have it done, you can create the
TidBit.

Create a new TidBit: Select "Tips by Model" in the left menu.
Then select a model: e.g., V8. At the bottom of that new page,
enter a name for the new TidBit (capitalize each word, but omit
spaces; e.g., WindowMotor), then click on the Create Button.

Paste: In the edit window, delete the introductory text and
paste in your new TidBit.

Preview it: You can click the Preview button to see how it
looks. The browser Back button gets you back to editing.
Make any necessary changes.

Save it: When you are happy with your work, click on the Save
button.

Add Pictures: Click on the Attach button, then browse to the
picture you want to add. To put the picture in the text, precede
it with "%ATTACHURL%/", like this: %ATTACHURL%/myimage.jpg.

Modify it: of course, you can go back and make changes and
tweak your TidBit to make it perfect. Once it has been saved,
click on the Edit button.

That's all there is to it.  :)  To encourage you, I'll suggest
you don't worry too much about spelling, grammar, or format. The
important thing is to get your TidBit into the KnowledgeBase.
