[V8] V8 not charging

This alternator only has one "gozinta" and one "comesouta" wire.
If the gozinta (small wire) has 12v on it with the engine running, and the
comesouta (big wire) is not at least 13.8v then you have a bad alternator.
If this is the case, you need to pull the alternator and have it looked at by a
good shop, or get a new/rebuilt one. I would suggest having it rebuilt yourself
since this is usually the cheapest but you would have to find a shop capable of
doing this. There are fewer and fewer of these shops left in our post walmart
world.
If you have replaced the regulator/brush assembly and it is still bad then:
- you got a bad part or installed it wrong
- you have a bad rotor
- you have something seriously wrong with the stator windings and or diodes
