[V8] passing emissions with the V8Q

... I heard a similar point from a V8 expert down in Southern California
... in fact he's hot a deal with a local smog shop where he takes the
car out to get warmed up and they are ready to run the sniffing
immediately on his arrival ... 

The thing that was so odd for me was that on #344, when I brought it
into the state the tech told me it was one of the cleanest cars he'd
ever seen, and now I'm having problems getting it to pass.  Perhaps it
was that I had just run the car in from Colorado ... on #2, I found I
was able to drive up to a test only station and the car passed first
time without any difficulty.
