[V8] radiator support stuck

I started on the TB job ,and managed to pull the bumper off.
A friend with a 93 V8 came to help.He did this job before .
Problem:
We could'nt remove the radiator support to set it under the car as shown
in the procedure on the net.
The passenger side moves forward enough, the driver's side seems to be
held back by the AC hose (?)
or something else. On his car that hose is longer.
I did not remove any of the lines at the bottom of the radiator or oil
cooler.
Should I ?
