I've followed the manual suggestion to loosen the crank bolts a couple
turns and tap on the pulleys around the rim with a "plastic" hammer (I'm
using a rubber deadblow hammer), and I can't get the pulleys to come loose
on their tapered shaft. I've tried tapping in every direction I can get to
with the hammer, all around the rim. How hard should this get whacked?
Can I use a puller?
How about the oil pump pulley? Will that come off easily?
I ordered the timing belt damper friction pad in the stuff from
AudiConnection ( ordered all parts on their main and optional timing belt
parts lists except the coolant), and I don't find that in the collection of
parts. Where is that in the assembly and what's it look like?
