Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss, maybe, but only maybe.
That is, IF you can get the transmission in the A-S8 to hold together, and
you don't mine the look of the A-S8, which just isn't as crisp as is the
original, imho....
Never liked tangelos anyway.

My best guess is a '97 A8, which can be had (on the low end)
for $8K asking. Add in an S8 or coil-over suspension and
you're in the neighborhood.
