[V8] TB cover seals...what should I do?

My cover on the passenger side has a similar problem(most likely caused
by a mechanic in a hurry) .Since it's only meant to keep water and dust
off the timing belt I'd say leave it alone.(as long as it's still
providing a seal).The cover on the driver's side , can be removed and
you can install it back, in the correct position.The other cover : it's
a whole adventure to remove.
