I went to the auction on Monday and a 2005 Jetta TDI that had a complete interior fire went for $10,500 wow!  Market price for used TDIs has gone up $1500-2000 in the last month.

I've been closely following prices for wrecked RS6's. The average sale 
price 
of the 6 cars that I've bid on and been tracking is about 16,000 
dollars. 
This is way above the 4500 I figured it would take to twin turbo a V8.
