[V8] Has this ever happened to you? Road Debris

I've had this happen TWICE - the first time, a truck threw a tire
skid thru the front spoiler of my M5 on the Washington Beltway.  The
idiot insurance company, GEICO, charged me with a collision although
they stipulate that if the object is airborne (which it was given the
damage) that it is an act of God.  The second time, a Cox
Communications truck lost a metal bucket lid which tried to lodge
itself in the lower grille of my F350.  This time I made it quite
clear to the idiot insurance company, GEICO, that this WAS an act of
God b/c I saw him quite clearly at the time of the incident.  

Lesson learned - I'm insured by Erie.  Geico may be cheap but it's
not worth the aggravation to save $20/year.
