[V8] Cruise Control Wiring

BTST ... yes, it is very frustrating.  

The thing is that once a weak point develops then the flexing will tend
to concentrate in that area ... which hastens the failure.  What I do on
my cars is to add a heavy polyethylene wrap around the entire flexing
part.  This tends to even out the flexing over the entire loom ... and
should prolong the life of the loom.  The sooner you do this the better.
