[V8] project car basis anyone?

Back in college, I had a cool '81 Scirocco.  So I dropped an
engine/tranny package from an '89 Jetta GLX in there, and added a couple
of extra tricks.

Talk about running like a scalded dog.  Sure was fun beating the
rice-burners at their own game.  :)
