[V8] Need some audi expertise

well the 4000 quattro is pretty hard to kill... My parents had one when 
I was a kid with over 400,000 miles on it and mine had 210,000 when I 
got rid of it they are very reliable just they are expensive to work 
on... If he does get it I would advise going to the parts connection or 
something for parts and doing as much as you can yourself.

Otherwise it should be a great car all in all. I gave mine away and the 
blue book value for most 4000's is well under 500$ if you actually look 
at that :/ They are not worth much but they are worth alot in 
reliablity. I would say if he has all the records and you test drive it 
find nothing wrong with it by all means go for it..

But thats just my experience :) let others give feedback too I am sure 
many here have owned a 4000.

PS. I still miss my 4000 at times cause of what I could do with it.
