[V8] Oil filter seal ring

Did an oil change and filter today.

Noticed that there was no large rubber oil seal ring on the top of 
the Mann filter that came off, and there should have been . . .

Sloshed around in the oil drain pan, looking for it - nobody home.

Took a length of welding rod, bent it 90 degrees, put a little hook 
in the end and fished around up inside the oil filter hole.

Boink, old seal ring popped off the block, slid down the wire, and is gone.

New filter (1 3/16" socket fits perfectly), new aluminum seal ring on 
the drain plug (someone welded a 7/8" shallow nut to it, MUCH 
easier!) and nine quarts of 20-50 Castrol GTX - roar! Away we go.

Watch for this rubber seal ring when you change the filter - it 
evidently isn't fastened securely to the top of the filter, and may 
stay on the block. If you put the new filter on without removing the 
old seal ring, you'll have an amazing oil leak, and they'll call your 
car the Exxon Audi Quattro.
