[V8] set screw rotor which side??

... there's no difference to either side ... I don't know why a different *distributor* rotor is spec'ed for each one in TFA. When I did the first rotor/cap swap on #344 I got the set screw type ... now I recommend only the slide-on ons. The original rotors I broke off (they are glued in place from the factory) were the slide-on type. I suppose it would be best to Loctite them in place, but I've never done that ...
If you've got screw type rotors I don't think you need to worry much about the length of the set screw ... if it pokes out a bit that should be fine. That said, when I realized that the screw style rotors didn't come with set screws I had to make a quick run to the hardware store ... ended up at Home Depot too ... they had set screws that fit perfectly (i.e. they didn't poke out) ... total bill $0.02 ... When I installed the rotors I found that the indexing boss was narrower than the cut-out in the shaft ... I ended up "eyeballing" the rotor to about center of travel.
