[V8] Distributor Question

If you note where the rotor is pointing generally, you can reinstall the
distributor without having to find TDC or anything because you're not
disturbing the timing belt. You just have to fiddle the rotor slightly to
get the drive end of the distributor shaft into place in its receptacle.
But you do need to note the general alignment when you remove a distributor
because it's possible to reinstall it with it off by 180 degrees. I don't
think there's any sealant called for or advisable. Just lube up the big
O-rings with something like vaseline.
