[V8] ?91 V8 handling issues

I assume you've had snow tires before? All I know is that when I had them a long time ago on my first Audi ('86 5000CS Quattro) the handling was terrible. The car would slide around LOT easier when you take a turn and the under steering was much worse as well.
 
Not sure if that's the case here but that was my experience, haven't owned snow tires since.
