first, before hunting around to borrow the factory tool.

Is there any reason it's not popular to replace the OE tape deck head
unit with an OE in-dash CD unit (such as one might find in a '91 coupe
quattro)? I understand it plugs right in, though the window antennas
might pose an issue..
