[V8] Radiator Hose Question

... you're talking about the oil pressure gauge ... and from your description it sounds normal.  

What Ingo is referring to would be caused by a slight leak in the head gasket, which would allow the compressed intake charge to leak into the water jacket.  If this were the case I'd expect you'd be reporting oil or a fuel odor in the coolant, or you'd be seeing coolant in the oil.  

Where are you getting your hoses from?  You aren't overstressing them are you?  I had a premature failure of an upper hose because I twisted the "T" section that goes to the right head when I was working on the radiator fan.  

Do you have any signs that the car is overheating?  What sort of coolant temp do you see on the dash gauge?
