Do you want that 3.8L with or without bullet holes in it?
out of curiosity, are you sure they did not cause this somehow? like by clogging
up an oil line while the heads were off?
I would be tempted to tear it down and see if there is old gasket gunk plugging
up the oil holes. Seems a little suspicious to me.

I just got back from the junk yard for my sunroof bracket part.
New it is $103 + a wait.

I got both of them for $10, along with a spare sunroof motor. All in all a good
day at the yard.

It is always interesting to visit the yard - there are some interesting dudes
there, along with the usual assortment of anti-social dimwits.
I have been there a few times in the last few days, first for a window for my
ranger - someone decided to toss a rock through it a few days ago, and now for
the sun roof part. One guy in particular recognizes me and pretty much just lets
me go shopping for what I want.
WHile I was there, I saw the door where they pulled my window from. The first
time I went out to get it, it was cold and raining and I needed a drill to get
the glass out so I just had them pull it for me. The doner door was in perfect
shape. No rust, good paint, not a single ding in it, and the door panel was even
still good. Rather than drill out two rivets and remove the glass the right way,
the monkee took some serious cutting tools to the door and basically destroyed
it. Their loss I guess.
The Audi (100 I think) I got the sunroof parts from was strange too. The body
was not dented, the interior looked like it was in good shape, and the air bag
was even still intact as was all glass but the small C pillar window on one
side. Looked like they just threw it away.
