No, but did you apply anti-seize to the threads? I've heard that
anti-seize containing silicon/silicone, if it gets to the business
end of the O2 sensor, can cause it to fail.  I don't know if it
would throw a code when that happens.

If the sensor came with anti-seize (possibly already applied),
then it shouldn't be a problem.  That doesn't mean you didn't
get a bad new sensor.
