[V8] O2 Sensor ????

Well I got in the car and it ran perfectly for about 14 miles then BOOM- the rich condition. It happened when I pulled into the dump to get rid of garbage. Stayed that way for the short trip to town and for my stops in town. Get out of town onto a 50 MPH road and notice the mileage slowly getting back to normal, hmmm. Go to the gym come out 90 minutes later and the car's running perfectly. I'm on a lightly trafficed 55 MPH road with 2 stoplights over 15 miles. Car stays perfect til I stop in my driveway to unlock my gate, now it's running rich again. Brainstorm;( well drizzle actually ) I pull back out on the highway do 60 MPH and the rich condition gradually gives way to a perfect running car. Yes, the rich condition's brought on by underhood temperatures for some reason. The temperature gauge never budged off it's 195 degree mark during all this. When I pulled codes over the weekend I got nothing but now in it's heat soak condition I get 2 codes showing O2 sensor. The sensor connections are tight. At this point I think I'll just hope it's a defective O2 sensor and replace it. Now please cross your fingers for me. Thanks for all your help and letting bounce all this stuff off you. William
