[V8] Coolant Problems HELP!!!

A couple of days ago my temperature light came on saying that the coolant
temperature was to high. I also noticed that coolant level in the expansion
tank was very low and leaking. I have ordered a new radiator expansion tank,
but in the mean time is there anything that I can do or something that I'm
missing. I have tried sealing the crack with some epoxy like bonding agent
which helped a little, but when it reaches a certain temperature boils all
out. Please help
