[V8] Rear Brakes

The regulating valve is there to adjust rear braking to accommodate
changes in rear load. When you put a couple portly folks in the back seat
and a bunch of luggage in the trunk, the modulator is supposed to increase
brake fluid flow. Probably hasn't worked in years.
The brake line splices are something I've made up from the shortest bit of
brake line available at FLAPS with appropriate metric fittings. I cut the
long passenger side brake line behind the crossmember it follows from the
driver side. I get a fitting from FLAPS to hook up with the ends on their
shortest made-up length and put the appropriate ISO flared bubble in the
line where I cut it so I can have a proper seal at the joint.
