[V8] Air Conditioner Question - Working!

Just wanted to update you all and thank you for your
tips, all of which helped me figure out my A/C
problem. It now runs cold.  The problem was two-fold.

1. The high pressure switch (code 16) was working
properly; the schraeder valve was leaking.

2. The A/C thermostat, even after I jumped the high
pressure switch, wasn't passing the full 12 volts over
to the A/C clutch relay. Are they on/off switches or
do they give back a variable voltage? Do these things
build up resistance overtime? I was getting voltage,
but not enough to turn on the clutch relay. I've
jumped it for now - seems OK for the summer.
