[V8] New 02 sensor, all is well - or is it?

Carter,
Don't dismiss the Oxygen sensor quite yet. All was good for 100
miles, eh? Then something was working. Get underneath and check the
wiring. It is VERY easy to have the wires contact the exhaust and
make the sensor useless. Please confirm. OTOH, of you have an
overly rich mixture in one or more cylinders and the OXS cannot
compensate adequately, then you may have another problem. I'd check
the OXS wiring first and then after running the engine for a while,
check all the spark plugs to see if they are all even or if one or
more indicates a too-rich condition.
